Agosto 28 en USA y se espera para Septiembre en México

“Battleship“, the 2012 film adaptation directed by Peter Berg, starring Taylor Kitsch and Liam Neeson is coming to Blu-ray Disc on August 28th. The film is based loosely on the popular Milton Bradley (Hasbro) board game of the same title. It co-stars Brooklyn Decker, Alexander Skarsgard, Rihanna and Asano Tadanobu. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound on a BD-50 (50 gigabyte dual-layered Blu-ray Disc).

This release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD, Digital Copy and UltraViolet digital copy of the film included. Below you’ll find a list of bonus materials set to be included on the release.

Esta película se me hizo de lo peorcito del año y ni que decir del prologo, totalmente isufrible y desacertado, con adolescentes cliché, pantera rosa y demás. Así que no creo que caiga ni por los efectos especiales.

A mi se me hizo muy pesada a media función quería irme, pero pues esperaba que viniera algo mejor, Rihanna se esforzó pero en mi opinión mejor hubiesen puesto otra chica, la película no me esforzaría por comprarla no me gustó del todo, entretiene pero no es de esas películas que puedas ver más de una vez.

Una decepción Battleship, sólo fui a verla por Liam Neeson que sólo sale como 5 minutos en pantalla. Un verdadero asco de guión. Afortunadamente ya pasé este trago amargo y no pienso volver a verla. Consideraría escuchar unas rolas de Maná o de Luis Miguel en lugar de volver a ver este churro. Pensándolo mejor, prefiero otro método de tortura diferente a sufrir escuchando a Maná o Luis Miguel...

(Leaving Rhianna off the call sheet would be a great start.) Hit or miss as it is, though -- puns! -- Universal's BD release doesn't disappoint. With an impeccable video presentation, an explosive DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround track, and a generous supplemental package, Battleship's high definition debut will give its fans their money's worth. I'd recommend going with a rental (unless you unremittingly love anything that can be classified as Big Dumb Fun), but if you already enjoyed Berg's high seas battler, you certainly won't be disappointed with its Blu-ray release.

Yo paso. Ni los cañonazos fueron suficientes para mantenerme despierto ante lo mala que es la película. No tenía muchas expectativas, pero de plano es MUY mala hasta desconectando el cerebro.

De que sirven 2 horas de audio y video impecables cuando el contenido es una basura ?

Está peor que Skyline? Yo no la vi cuando llegó al cine.

Tampoco la vi en cines, pero estaría bien compararla con Skyline, si sale igual o peor mejor ahí que se quede.

A mi no se me hizo tan mala como comentan, creo que esta es mejor que cualquier peli de los Transformers.

Ya que salió un valiente, diré que a mi tampoco se me hizo mala, si acaso no es muy buena, pero cumple con entretener y se ve que le metieron billete. Y sí, si compran (compramos, dijo el otro) Transformers, no veo por qué no ésta, que al menos no es tan pretenciosa.

Desde Trasnformers 1 quedé decepcionado de la historia y el desarrollo de los personajes. Yo sé que es una película de acción y efectos, pero le dan demasiado tiempo a los personajes para hacer y decir estupideces. Esperaba que para la 2 y la 3 mejorara la situación pero no fue así. La acción y los efectos son excelentes, y pudieron haber hecho historias menos pretenciosas, enredadas y banales, por algo mas sencillo, interesante, entretenido y hasta creíble. Yo esperaba que esta pelicula de battleship fuera la acción y los efectos de Transformers pero sin sus estupidos personajes. No la he visto, y pretendo al menos rentarla para ver que tal. Los comentarios de Salas y roughneck me animan un poco, y talvez si sigo sin esperar mucho, sí me guste.

Confesaré que he estado pensando en comprar esta nomás por los efectos, porque no la vi en cines, y porque a mi papá le gustan las batallas navales con buen escándalo. Y si dicen que está mejor que Transformers 2 y 3 ya es bastante. Habrá que ver si aplica Amazon un descuento o en Block y Sanborns.

La acabo de ver y me entretuvo muchísimo mas que cualquiera de Transformers, no esperen ver actuaciones de primer nivel ni diálogos shakespearanos, mucha acción y un sonido impresionante la imagen va por el mismo nivel, a esperarla en semi nueva

Yo sí la voy a comprar y si es en steel, pués que mejor, no es la octava maravilla, pero en lo personal me entretuvo y los efectos están muy buenos, a la casa se viene.
