DAREDEVIL MOVIE UPDATE
Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige told The Continuum that the upcoming new Daredevil DVD will be a "whole new experience."
The DVD will be a director's cut, with many new scenes, and will be rated R. It is being targeted for a spring release.
"I hope the people who loved the first one will love this one even more," Feige said. "And I think who the people who had other opinions will be won over by this new version.
"Moreso than many director's cuts that you'll see, it's really a different experience. Not only are there other subplots and things in it, there are turns in his character, darker turns, and more interesting turns that he takes in this version."
Feige said that writer/director Mark Steven Johnson and producer Avi Arad of Marvel Studios are providing a new audio commentary for the director's cut. "It's very entertaining," he said.
Like Fox's X-Men franchise did with its titles, the new Daredevil DVD might be called Daredevil 1.5, but unlike the X-Men version, there will be no lookahead materials.
An Elektra spin-off movie is being targeted to go before the cameras next year, but a Daredevil sequel might be a few years down the road. Ben Affleck, who starred as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, has been quoted in recent reports as saying he's reluctant to return to the role.
"There are many more stories to be told with old Hornhead and we'd love to tell them someday," Feige said. "Right now, all of our efforts are on Elektra's solo adventure."

a que se refiere con "lookahaead materials"?
Me imagino que se refiere a nuevos extras.
Pues como va la estaré comprando una vez que salga.
creo que por lookahead materials se refiere a material de la siguiente película (no tengo X-Mne 1.5, pero creo que traia extras y previews de X-Men 2). Esto se debe (por lo que dicen) debido a que a la secuela de Daredevil todavía le falta bastante, ya que actualmente es prioridad el spin off de Elektra.
Pues para mi es un cambio seguro, porque solo tengo la versión de 1 disco.
Ahhh! Que gacho se siente ver estos anuncios, sobre todo porque yo tengo la versión de 2 discos...
Si no es extremadamente mejor que la que tengo, se me hace que la dejo pasar.
(Si todavía no me he animado a cambiar mi Saving Private Ryan R1 por la R4 con DTS...)
Es como dice Vicco, es lo que viene en un futuro. Realmente en lo personal, no me late volver a comprarla.
pues si Fox Mexico la edita con los extras subtitulados;DTS y esta mejor que la que vi en cine adelante voy y la cambio en salto del agua

We can exclusively reveal that Fox have delayed the director's cut of Daredevil until next year. The film, which stars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner was originally scheduled for a release in its uncut form this coming April. The disc itself is expected to introduce a number of new scenes (including the ones with Coolio) as well as an all new commentary with writer/director Mark Steven Johnson. No reason has been given for the delay I'm afraid, but if we hear anything we'll pass the word on. Stay tuned.

Es la buenaza de Jennifer Garner, kato, y si, está como quiere. O mas bien como quiero.
No me gusta la película, pero me regalaron la de 2 discos cuando salió, en mi cumpleaños. Le di otra oportunidad, y otra vez no me gustó.....pero QUE DTS SE CARGA!!!!! Nada más por eso no la he cambiado, el sonido es excelente para calibrar el HT, pero definitivamente si sale otra versión ni loco la compro, asi traiga 10000 extras y DTS-ES.

Yo tambien, maxime que tengo la versión de un disco de Region 4.
Y para los que ya tenemos la edicion anterior de 2 discos region 1, ¿como no se les ocurre vender esta director´s cut, pero con una caja en la cual puedas tambien meter los 2 discos de la edicion anterior?
Ya esta en Amazon, a US$ 13.99, asi que a ese precio bien vale la pena.

Y que onda con el doblaje??
Supongo que habran hecho otro doblaje, por aquello de las escenas de más, que tendrian que haber doblado para esta nueva version.
O de plano dejaron el mismo doblaje y en el momento que entran las escenas adicionales se cambia el audio a ingles y despues regresa en español cuando esta la versión normal de la pelicula, lo comento por que en la de Aliens cuando ves la pelicula con el audio en español y en la version extendida, al momento de entrar las escenas adicionales pasa lo que les digo.
Si, pasa igual con Lawrence de Arabia.

Para mi, así esta perfecta, el doblaje se lo dejo a mi hijo en la edición de cine.
Con la leida rápida que le di a la review ya me dieron ganas de comprarla, a ver si se puede el año que entra.
