Esta serie, que es una de mis preferidas; en la que J. Depp se diò a conocer (y cuya salida causò el derrumbe de la misma) la cual me tuvo pendiente varias noches en inicio de los 90`s por canal 5, y a finales en CANAL 11, por la tarde; ha sido una de mis màs fervientes deseos por cumplir en lo que a salida en dvd se refiere.

Parece que tendrè suerte.

We know how many TVShowsOnDVD readers want 21 Jump Street on DVD...and it's a LOT of you. This classic show aired on the Fox network in the late 80's/early 90's, and brought Johnny Depp into the public eye, launching him as a star.

One of you, TVShowsOnDVD reader Susan Lulgjuraj, managed to do something that we here have tried to do, and weren't able to. We've looked for months for info from the Cannell Company, which is Stephen J. Cannell's business for the various TV series he's created and written, whether 21 Jump Street was planned for DVD. After all, Cannell himself failed to even bring up this particular show when discussing the topic in previous interviews (here and here).

Well, even though we couldn't get Cannell's business to admit to it, they did respond to a fan inquiry about the same subject. Susan asked the Cannell Company directly about 21 Jump Street, and they sent her this very encouraging response:

Dear Susan,

Thank you for your email! At this time we are working towards releasing 21 Jump Street on DVD. As we are in the beginning of the process, it will be some time until the DVD is released, so keep checking our website for further information and updates!

It looks like we've got a wait in front of us, but it's good to relax a bit and know that DVDs are in production for this, and that sooner or later we will be able to enjoy 21 Jump Street on our favorite digital media. This is very welcome news to us here at the site, and we know for lots of you, too.

Thanks again to Susan Lulgjuraj for getting the info, and for passing it on to us. Stay tuned, and we will keep a sharp eye out for further news and developments on this highly anticipated release!

Ahh chinga, esa sí no me la sabía... También llegué a ver esta serie, pero la deje de ver cuando metieron a Richard Grieco (sp?), ya nadamás estaban poniendo galanes para atraer al público femenil :? y todavía tuvo su spin-off Mr. Grieco.

Supongo que fue lo mas alto que llego la carrera de Gerardo. :lol:

Pues la verdad, si fuè alto; pues nò llegò a màs... a menos que tomemos en cuenta llegar a ser crisitano, supongo como tantos otros "artistas".

Yo tambièn me desvelaba, vièndola y como era mi època de Prepa, ahora a finales de los 90 que la vì en el canal del "poli", y cada vez que la recuerdo; sobre todo la canciòn, que por cierto la interpretaba HOLLY ROBINSON (chequen: http://www.angelfire.com/tv/21js/music.htm ) la chica coprotagonista de color; me trae el dulce sabor de la nostalgìa, y sentirme Hanson, de hecho varios compañeros del colegio nos saludabamos como lo hacìan en la serie.

La serie como tantas otras fuè grabada en VANCOUVER, y hasta donde sè fuè la 1er. serie con la que iniciò FOX. Hay capìtulos tremendamente buenos, sobre todo porque trataban temas como el racismo, el aborto, abuso de menores, homofobia y la recièn iniciada "enfermedad del siglo".

Lo ùnico bueno que recuerdo de Griecco y su programa que se desprendiò de 21 JS: "Booker", fuè el capìtulo "crossover" que inicia cuando el conduce hasta la celda (o visita?, ya no recuerdo! ) a HANSON ( chequen la foto del link que les envìe) fuè algo que me dejò en suspenso.

Ahhh!, no cabe duda que nos estamos haciendo viejos.

mmm, alguien tiene idea si trae subtítulos y doblaje al español?.
Posiblemente vea la luz en r4 pór ser de FOX, no creen??

una cosa es que haya sido emitida por FOX y otra que haya sido producida.... por ejemplo... "Married with Childrens" fue emitida por FOX y producida por Columbia (quienes sacan los DVDs)... el caso es que para 21 Jump Street los derechos en DVD los tiene Anchor Bay.... así que dudo mucho que le metan algo de español, salvo en algunos capitulos que trataban sobre bandas latinas de narcos....

Por cierto, hace un par de semanas vi que la estaban pasando en Fox, creo que el fin de semana... ¿alguien con el TV-Guía nos confirma?

No manches Vicco!, checaré FOX; aunq no creo... yo la ví hace varios meses en AXN, de hecho subtítulada.

Si, de hecho, pasaron el piloto/primer episodio, el personaje de Depp todavía era Policía regular y lo llevaban al 21 Jumpstreet. Ahora, que igual y tengas razón y no haya sido en FOX donde la ví sino en AXN, soy famoso por mi pésima memoria pero de que la ví en el cable, la ví.
