Warner has announced Taking Lives which stars Angelina Jolie, Ethan Hawke and Kiefer Sutherland. The film will be available to own in seperate rated and unrated director's editions from the 17th August this year. Both will be priced at around $27.95. The unrated edition will include a 109 minute cut of the movie, which promises a sexier and scarier version of the film. The rated cut on the other hand, runs to 103 minutes. Both discs will carry an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track, along with a 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen presentation for the unrated disc, and a full screen presentation for the standard edition. Each will feature an Art of Collaboration documentary which looks at how the filmmaking team came together, a Profiling a Director: Inside D.J. Caruso's Mind documentary, a Bodies of Evidence featurette in which the stars confess their secrets of working on an ultra-intense thriller and a Puzzle Within The Puzzle documentary which focuses on the teamwork of Caruso and veteran editor Anne V. Coates. Completing the package will be a selection of outtakes and the films theatrical trailer.

Está bien para una rentada primero. Te da algunos sustos, está entretenida y tiene un estilo visual muy bueno, juega de repente con las sombras y el blanco y negro, me parece que está filmada en 35 mm.
Nada del otro mundo, pero bien para cuando no hay otra cosa que ver en la tele.

Jolie plays an FBI profiler who is sent to Montreal to help out Canadian law enforcement find a serial killer who who assumes the lives and identities of his victims. Hawke plays a museum employee recruited to act as bait for the killer.

The video will be in 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen with a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. Extras include:

Now the cover art is available and looks encouraging. This is an Amaray case, not the usual snapper from Warner. So it could be a trend is forming and Warner Home Video will finally dispense with the snapper case.

Pues nunca ví nada de eso, si acaso fue que extendieron la escena de sexo en la película, pero pensé que iba a traer más cosas...pero NO. que ganan con sacar esas ediciones?

A mi me gustó mucho, y pues tb soy fan de Angelina, y pues la compré el fin de semana pasado... :grin:
