We've managed to obtain some early details on box-office hit Spider-Man 2, which stars Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and Alfred Molina. Naturally, the disc has yet to be officially announced by Columbia, as it is still very much wow'ing cinema goers around the world. However, we can confirm that the disc is set to include a couple of audio commentaries with the cast and crew, multiple behind the scenes featurettes (including a wealth of juicy material on the wonderful villain Doc Ock), a multi-angle on-set featurette and one or two still galleries. Completing the package will be a big selection of Spider-Man 2 trailers and TV spots. As things stand, this will be a two-disc set, with a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and a Dolby Digital 5.1 track. As you can probably guess, the DTS track will be saved for the inevitable Superbit release. We should also point out that director Sam Raimi recently confirmed that a second Spidey 2 disc is already in the planning, so if it's the ultimate release that you're after - you may have a bit to wait.

Ya señalan la inminente salida de la Superbit, pero la gran pregunta... para cuando??? cuando vaya a salir Spider-man 3???

Me temo que si Erubiel, de intermedio tendremos la 2.5 aunque seguro que la superbit R3 sale mucho antes que la R1.

Pues si Vicco, por eso aclaro que es preliminar ya que seguro sufre modificaciones.

El logo amarillo es la clasificacion de edades, todos los DVDs R2 Inglaterra lo traen.

mmm...tentador el superbit, me parece que esta vez me voy por el superbit y luego me compro la extended que seguro traerá mejores extras que la edicion 2 discos.

Ojala y la Superbit tenga subtitulos en español ya que cuando las Superbit salen directo del cine a Dvd no traen subtitulos (Adaptacion,Punch Prunk Love y The Panic Room)

Si, eso es lo importante que traigan subs en español, si no ya me veré no comprando nada.

Pues ojalá y se confirmen los subs, aunque la verdad yo no tengo muchas esperanzas

Columbia TriStar is preparing a Spider-Man 2 DVD that will keep Spidey fans stuck to their sofas for days. The two-disc DVD set ($29.96, out Nov. 30) has more than six hours of special features about the characters and the filmmaking process.

A $49.95 deluxe gift set also includes a 25-page portfolio featuring well-known comic book artists' works inspired by the film, postcards and a miniature reproduction of The Amazing Spider-Man #50 comic book, in which Peter Parker decides to give up his alter ego.

The film and DVD production crews began collaboration early with the sequel, says film co-producer Grant Curtis. Most of the production crew — including director Sam Raimi — were miked for a segment about the filming of the pier showdown scene that can be viewed using the multiple-camera-angle feature. "It really puts the viewer in the director's chair," Curtis says.

Viewers can also listen to two different full-length commentaries, one with Raimi and star Tobey Maguire, another with visual effects designer John Dykstra and other members of the effects team.

Pues si el superbit trae subs en español, es compra segura... y nada más... los extras de la 1 me dejaron bastante descepcionado, así que no me interesan mucho las demás ediciones

Lo que no me gusta es que en R1 tendremos 4 pistas de audio, 2 audiocomentarios y extras en el disco 1, esto compromete la calidad del video, ya veremos los reviews.

Buen detalle que pongan de Eastr Egg a Molina (Doc Ock) interpretando una canción de Violinista en el Tejado (donde actuó en Broadway).

y subtítulos en el disco 2!!!!!!!!!!!! :o :o :o :o :o

Lo de los subtitulos en el disco 2 creo que es un error de DVDanswers ya que seguro corresponden al disco 1 tal como dice Davis DVD.

en dvdfile.com mencionan incluso doblaje 2.0 en español!!!!!!!!!! y es la nota de prensa oficial!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me parece que si la edicion normal va a traer subs, casi seguro que la superbit tambien. 8)

Lo digo porque en Brasil ya se confirmo que saldrá WIDE a la venta.

A ver, hay confusión, qué nos espera? si la edición doble WS trae subtitulos entonces casi un hecho que la Superbit tenga también.

Ahora, DVD Answers dice que el disco 2 tiene subtitulos ¿será?

¿Y si la edición R4 si viene en WS? seguro esta tendria doblaje en Español 5.1 para los chiquillos y los extras subtitulados.

Yo esto es lo que haré, si la edición R1 tiene doblaje aunque sea 2.0 compraré esta y además la Superbit para disfrutar del DTS y seguramente una imágen superior. Pero la prioridad es la SB.

Sobre los extras indudablemente los de la 1 no fuero nada del otro mundo, solo making-of de HBO y E! que no aportan mucho.

No creo, me parece que los "supuestos" subtitulos del disco 2 pertenecen al disco 1, error de DVDanswers.

Yo si creo que se viene WIDE, pero fue 5.1 el doblaje en el cine? Aún asi me parece que en Z4 seria el 2.0, por algo es 2.0 en Z1.

Si se confirma que la Z4 será una edicion hecha y derecha me comprare la Z4, sino me comprare la superbit y los extras los tendré en la 2.5

Pero los extras de esta edición los hizo el mismo productor de Alien Quadrilogy y Black Hawk Down: SE asi que al menos le queda el beneficio de la duda; esperaré reviews :wink:

Bueno, despues de todo no seria error de DVDanswers y tendriamos subtitulos en el disco 2 en R1:

Hmmm se ven muy simples esos menús, habría que verlos en movimiento (si es que lo tienen) hmm...

El backcover confirma el audio en español 2.0
