Lost in Space - Season 3, Volume 1 has been announced for release on March 1st, with Season 3, Volume 2 not far behind: it will arrive in June. Fox Home Entertainment is getting the final season of the show out in two DVD installments, just like they did with the second season. For now we only have the details on the first half of the season.

Well, "half" may not be the correct word, exaclty, because there were 24 episodes in the 3rd Season, and based on the running time of 735 minutes, it looks like the first DVD set from that year will contain around 14 episodes, give or take.

Fox hasn't specified that, but they have told us that the "extras" on this set consist of the "Next On Lost In Space " previews which ended each episode and led into the next. Those will only be present on the first 8 episodes of the set, though: The Condemned of Space (previews Visit to a Hostile Planet), Visit to a Hostile Planet (previews Kidnapped in Space), Kidnapped in Space (previews Hunter's Moon), Hunter's Moon (previews The Space Primevals), The Space Primevals (previews The Space Destructors), The Space Destructors (previews The Haunted Lighthouse), The Haunted Lighthouse (previews Flight into the Future) and Flight into the Future (previews Collision of the Planets).

Video is in 1.33:1, and still in color of course. Audio is in English Mono, Spanish Mono, and French Mono, and subtitles are present for each of those languages. List price in the USA is $39.98, and in Canada the cost is CAN$54.98 SRP. Stay tuned for cover art!

Fox Home Entertainment has announced Lost in Space Season 3 Volume 2 which stars Guy Williams, June Lockhart, Mark Goddard and Martha Kristen. The three-disc set will be available to own from the 19th July this year, and should set you back around $29.98. The set will include the final nine episodes of America’s favorite space family, presented in 1.33:1 full frame along with English, French and Spanish Mono tracks. Extras will include a Target Earth Act Break feature, an Interstitial Blooper and some 1995 interview clips. Fox hasn't released the official package artwork yet, but we'll bring you that very shortly.

Lost in Space - Season 3 Volume 2 officially announced



We've known that Lost in Space: Season 3, Volume 2 has been coming on July 19th for awhile, but today 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment made it official by releasing details for the final set in the series.
It's the third and final season of the far-out tales of TV's most lovable space crew! Complete your mission with these intergalactic adventures! Join in as the Jupiter 2 crew attempts to finally return home to Earth, with more help from the wily Robot B-9, more antics from master meddler Dr. Zachary Smith, and of course, more "Danger, Will Robinson!" Along with out-of-this-world extras not available anywhere else, this collectable DVD installment of Irwin Allen's LOST IN SPACE presents the final 9 episodes of America's favorite space family.
The 3 disc set will contain the final 9 episodes (441 mins), and bonus features. The technical specs for the set are the same as previous releases; English, Spanish and French mono audio tracks (with English and Spanish subtitles), presented in a Full Frame (1.33:1) aspect ratio.
