Munsters, The - Do you want to provide your input for Season 2?
We recently revealed that Universal is planning on getting The Munsters - Season 2 out on DVD later this year, probably just a few weeks before Halloween (which we hinted at last time but didn't come right out and say). Now you have an opportunity to provide YOUR input about the kinds of extras that would be on the set.
Butch Patrick is one of the stars of The Munsters of course, playing Eddie Munster with relish for both seasons of the show. He's partnered with Ms. Bonnie Vent in Genesis Creations Entertainement, and Vent also represents Butch and numerous other former child stars ("Pugsley & Wednesday Addams", "Peter Brady", "Dennis 'the Menace' Mitchell", "Ritchie Petrie", "Cissy & Jody", "Wally Cleaver", "Eddie Haskell", and more!) for celebrity bookings. Vent helps run Butch's website, Butch-Patrick.com, in addition to those other duties.
Now, in a message posted to Butch-Patrick.com's message board, Ms. Vent has invited comments from fans about what sort of extras they would like to see on the upcoming final season set release for The Munsters. Here's what she asks:
Hi Everyone,
I am receiving a lot of e-mail from people wondering about The Munsters Season 2 DVD. Will it have extras? When is it coming out? What about the Image Entertainment contents?
Well my Munsters Fans we care what you think. You are the ones who buy the DVDs. What would you like to see on the Season 2 DVD? I cannot guarantee that you will get everything you want, but I can assure you that your constructive comments will be brought to the attention of NBC Universal Home Video.

Looking at the responses in the two weeks since this has been posted, I can see that there are some very constructive ideas already floated up there. But your ideas might be different, so don't delay! Universal Home Video is surely finalizing their budget for this release in the not-too-distant future, and once they determine how much of that's available for extras, they'll want to have an idea exactly what the fans would like to see (if available and licensable). So head on over and tell them what you want.
