Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman - Extras already in-the-works for 2nd Season DVD set!



We're still rounding up news out of this past weekend's Comic Con in San Diego, and there's some great news out of the annual event for Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman fans. Yesterday the folks at the Superman Homepage website posted a report that had this to say:

July 19, 2005: "Lois & Clark" Season 2 DVD in Production

Superman fan Dave MacLean emailed in to report that he was at a Q&A session on July 17th where actress Denise Crosby was one of the guests.

Denise revealed that she was headed to do some commentary for the Season 2 DVD set of "Lois & Clark". Denise Crosby starred as Dr. Gretchen Kelly in the episode titled "The Phoenix".

No further details are available at this stage.

However, it's great to know that there are extras being worked on for this release, too, and that Denise Crosby (best known as "Tasha Yar" in Star Trek: The Next Generation) is going to contribute to these. Warner has kindly sent over artwork for the second season of Lois & Clark which stars Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher. The six-disc package will be available to own from the 17th January, and should be priced at around $59.98. Each of the season two episodes will be presented in 1.33:1 full frame, along with English 2.0 Stereo Surround tracks. According to the folks at TVShowsOnDVD.com, extras will include commentary on "Season's Greetings" by Dean Cain, a Secrets of Season 2 featurette, and a Marketing Metropolis: The Fans of Lois & Clark featurette.
