A NEW HOPE:

1. The 'Imperial March' music has been added to Vader's first appearence

2. When Obi-Wan is talking to Luke about his father Anakin’s theme music can heard in the background and when Obi-Wan starts talking about Vader it changes to the Imperial March

3. Luke’s lightasber is blue throughout the film

4. In several scenes where creatures are seen (e.g. The Cantina) some have been replaced by creatures seen in the prequels

5. The bleeding arm Obi-Wan slices off a creature in the Cantina does not have blood seen on it

6. Just before the Death Star destroys Alderaan there is a new scene added where different places on the planet can be seen along with Bail Organa & his wife. Shots include Bail being warned of the Death Star, the destrution on the planet which includes massive earthquakes, fire and peopele frantically trying to escape, you see Bail looking up into the blackend sky before the planet totally blows up (filmed during episode III)

7. The Death Star’s computers and screens have been improved

8. The opening text crawl has changed (details unknown)

9. Luke looks upset when Biggs dies and he sheds a tear (all CGI & PRT)

10. The duel between Vader & Obi-Wan is roughly a minute longer as there are more shots of the lightsabers clashing and them moving about (done using CGI, PRT & Stuntmen playing Vader & Obi-Wan). Music has been added to the scene as well (deatails unknown yet)

11. Just before the medal ceromony at the end, a scene has been added where Vader lands his damaged ship on Coruscant to meet Palpatine. They discuss the destruction of the Death Star, Obi-Wan, Luke & finding the Rebels. This is the first time Vader relises his children are alive and that Luke destroyed the Death Star (filmed during Episode III)

12. Vader's mask eyes remain black throughout the film

13. John Williams has rescored the music for some of the scenes (details unknown yet apart from changes 1 & 2 in this list)

THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK:

The Changes:-
1. Some shots where Taun-taun’s can be seen have been changed so the Tuan-tuan’s have more movement and look more realistic

2. While the battle of Hoth is going on Imperial ships land near the Rebel base and a few more shots of ships flying and being destroyed have been added

3. Some of the views of Bespin (for example the background where Luke is holding on to the metal poles beneath a building) have been improved to look more realistic and ships can be seen flying around in the distance

4. A scene has been added where Yoda is teaching Luke how to fight with a lightasber made possible by Luke wearing a helmet while training (a stunt double plays him)

5. The Wampa scenes have been edited and restored into the film as well as new scenes added. We see a Wampa being brought into the Rebel base and locked into a room with other Wampa’s. Later C-3PO knocks the sign off the door the Wampa’s are behind stating their there and when the Stormtroopers enter the base they open the door only to be attacked by the Wampa’s who then can be seen escaping as the Millennium Falcon blasts off out of Hoth

The Changes:
1. In the battle on Endor more Ewoks and Stormtroopers can be seen fighting and dieing and some parts of the battle have been edited out, members of Han’s team can be seen fighting as well (these scenes were shot during the production of Episode I, 7 years ago)

2. Vader uses the force to reclaim his lightasber after he throws it at Luke and the sound of him turning it on again has been removed

3. The lightasber duel between Luke and Vader is slightly longer (just more shots of clshing lightsabers)

4. The lightsaber effects have been improved

5. Vader has a flashback of Padme after his talk with Luke when he first meets him on Endor (filmed during Episode III)

6. Kassykk & Utapau have been added to the end celebration scenes

7. Some of Yoda's facial expressions have been improved beacuse of CGI

Esto es broma, verdad? creo que caigo desmayado por esta vorágine tremenda de información que se desborda de la pantalla, tal cual...

Simplemente G.Lucas se despierta cada dia pensando "qué le puedo seguir moviendo a mis peliculas" parece que se sienta diario frente a su TV como jugando al PS2 haciendo cambios a SW. Pobres de los de efectos, o más bien afortunados por el trabajo que tienen siempre constante. George duerme con un sujeto de ILM por si acaso...

Nuevos transfers para la Trilogia? no lo necesitan, tampoco EII... solo le necesita y de manera urgente Episodio I, un transfer lleno del siempre feo Edge Enhancement.

En fin, a gastar más y más. George aqui tienes tu mina de oro.

Y al parecer tendremos que continuar con nuestros discos de EI, II y III ya que los extras de los discos 2 de estos sets no se repetirán en el boxset nuevo.

Ya que iban a lanzar un boxset titán tenia que ser de 12 discos, cada pelicula con sus 2 discos.

pues ojalá. Yo tampoco sé que pensar. Si recuerdas teníamos las mismas info aceca del DVD Trilogy , asi que solo el tiempo lo dirá.

con todo y que me caiga gordo Jar-Jar, me quedo con mis discos originales... simplemente la palabra "cambios" me saca piel de gallina (sobre todo en la trilogía IV-VI).. me quedo con Alec Guinnes y su pelea chafa de espadas del ep 4

Si bien no soy partidario de que cambien las versiones originales a menos que editen en DVD aquellas viejas películas, debo decir que me sorprendió este nuevo pack. Yo también espero que sea verdad. De ser así lo compraré ciegamente.

en el remoto caso (remotiiiiiiiiisimo!) de que esa información se verdad, para nada que saldría a la luz asi de pronto. Todo eso es mas falso que nada.

De donde salió la informacion Smell ?

La posibilidad existe, conociendo a Lucas.
La mayoría de los ajustes, o cambios, suenan, dentro de cierto contexto, adecuados, ya que crean un mejor hilo en la historia, hasta cierto punto, y mejoran la trilogía original para "acercarla" al nivel de calidad técnico de las precuelas.
Sin embargo parecen más los deseos de un fan perfeccionista, que juntó todos los detalles que parecían incoherentes o anticuados y los desearía arreglar.
Pese a las ventajas que podría esto tener, pienso, como la mayoría, que ya no deberían de tocarse esas películas. NO a los cambios en la historia, NO a escenas agregadas ya sean tomas originales o hechas con dobles. NO a las caras CGI de ningun personaje, real o puppet. Lo único aceptable son mejoras en los efectos visuales; naves, espacio, explosiones, rayos, color de lightsabers, etc. pero NADAMAS.

a mi me suena como a un "wish list" de fans (sobre todo por lo de Jar-Jar, y otras jaladas como eso de la pelea de Obi Wan vs Vader en ANH)

Si.. pero antes de la edición especial existieron algo asi como 4 versiones distintas desde qeu salió star wars en el 77 en cine.

Hace tiempo encontré un site en el que explicaban cada cambio qhe hubo y como identificar el video de cada generación.

Yo tengo la ultima version antes de los THX, los THX y la edicion especial del 97..... osease.. me faltaron las primeras 2 o 3 versiones. :roll:

Yo tengo la edición editada por videovisa en unas cajas azules y la edición especial en caja dorada (fullscreen).
Las otras dos ediciones que recuerdo son la edición especial en caja plateada (widescreen) y la edición especial con avances del episodio 1 que trae a yoda en la portada.

En lo personal, considero que es una tomadura de pelo y una falta de etica profecional al tratar embaucar a los seguidores de la saga con más de los mismo

¿Qué pudierán aportar al contexto de la historia? ¿Mayor complegidad a la trama? ¿Contenido? :puke:

De ahí que los bucaneros serán la alernativa de compra.

Seguramente Lucas dará a la saga un número progresivo y su gloriosa firma en el empaque para hacer creer que será una compra de clasificada y de "culto".

Mejor debería de abocarse a crear nuevas películas, el cine necesita renovarse, nuevas y mejores tramas, actores, directores, etc.

Lucas es tan genial que Anaquin es literalmente tostado en el Episodio III, pero cuando esta viejo en el Regreso del Jedi, presenta cicatrices de arma punso cortante y ni una sola quemadura ¡Claro que por supuesto que uso tepesquehuite!

Una aportación brillante y sumamente genial a la trama al considerar los 20 años que necesito Lucas para pulir a sus personajes y poner a disposición del publico otra muestra de su genialidad.


Considerando esta y algunas algunas de estas pequeñas menudencias, lejos de aportar algo transendente será más de lo mismo pero con un desembolso mayor.

Bueno, en parte tienes razón. Mejor que se dedique a hacer nuevas ideas en vez de darle a lo mismo.

La intención -sin contar lo de ganr dinero- es hacer que la pelis sean mas enteras y mas lógicas. Si te fijas en el Ep 1 y luego el ep 2 Yoda se ve mas viejo en la primera peli.

Al fin de cuentas nunca verémos esas edicones originales...

Por eso fue que removió las cejotas de Sebastian Shaw en el dvd de ROTJ

Pues yo creo que ninguna edición casera tuvo el "theatrical cut" de ANH... es bien sabido que el primer cambio realizado por Lucas en esta película fue la adición de "Episode IV- A New Hope"... es bien sabido que el corte exibido en mayo de 1977 en el teatro Chino no traía ese título

desde hace décadas se sabía que Obi-Wan y Anakin pelearon a la orilla de un pozo de lava, y Anakin fue el perdedor cayendo en el, de ahí que fuese mas máquina que hombre. El dato se tenía pero no la escena en si.

Me parece que resultó mas difícil de lo que parecía el filmar tal escena... y claro, las consecuencias no se dejaron esperar, como es la de tener que borrar las cejas a un anakin ya viejo.

En si las cicatrices que presenta en la cabeza son visibles en E III, después de que se apaga el fuego en el y en ecenas posteriores de su traslado y re-armado, no son muy aparentes por el color de la piel ( o maquillaje ), pero si se pueden apreciar. Claro que siempre existe la posibilidad de que futuramente sufriera mas precances en alguna incursion o cosa semejante... es la ventaja de dejar abierta posibilidades para que el fan las llene con su imaginación. Lástima que algunos fans pienesn que su imaginación debe ser una ley y se deba volver realidad .

Con respecto a la primera edicion de cine de episodio IV, al parecer es cierto.. la que se exhibió en cines de primera mano nunca salió al público en video o medio casero.

Y con respecto a las supuestas nuevas ediciones, que según esto ya tienen un mes que circula en internet el dato y que mucha gente lo ve como fraude... A mi no me molesta que se realicen cambios en las cintas, siempre que no afecte la historia en si, mas escenas?.. pue si.. me gustaría hasta ver todo lo que se filmó y se cortó.. TODO... pero porque soy fan.. y no me aburriría.... pero al ponerme a pensar como producción.. claro que hay que tomar en cuenta que un producto a la venta debe ajustarse a todo tipo de consumidores... El unico cambio que ha dolido es el de " han dispara primero "...
