"November 16th marks the eagerly awaited Japanese region two release of Miyazaki’s, Howl’s Moving Castle. As usual, our Far Eastern cousins will be treated to a regular and special edition. Both will provide an anamorphic widescreen transfer, as well as optional English and Japanese subtitles. Early details indicate that the regular edition will have Japanese audio in Dolby Digital 2.0 and Dolby Digital EX 5.1, as well as an English Dolby Digital 5.1 dub. The special edition boasts Japanese audio in Dolby Digital 2.0 and DTS-ES 6.1. It would appear that stereo tracks in English, French, Mandarin and Cantonese (as well as subtitles) accompany the film on a separate disc. Supplementary materials on the two disc regular edition include development stills, trailers, making of featurette "Sekai no Howl" (condensed version), comments from the English voice actors and director interview. The special edition is a lavish four disc set that will include the Japanese DTS mix on disc 1, stereo tracks on disc 2, the aforementioned extras on disc 3 and disc 4 houses a full version of the making of featurette, further interviews and commentary on the film’s CG. The SRP is ¥4935 and ¥8500 for the regular and special edition respectively. Place your orders in early and you could receive an exclusive film frame captured in a transparent block. The title can be bought from CD Japan (regular/special) or Play-Asia (regular/special)." - DVD Answers
