Seinfeld prepping Seinfeld

The Seinfeld TV series is finally being prepared for a DVD release, according to co-creator/star Jerry Seinfeld. In the May issue of VB sister publication DVD Exclusive (formerly DVD Premiers), Seinfeld says he is helping to create interviews and commentaries and dig up the annual season-ending gag reels that could be included as extras. Seinfeld will be on The Tonight Show Starring Jay Leno, On the Record With Bob Costas, and Live With Regis and Kelly May 14-19 to promote the Miramax DVD of his theatrical documentary Comedian, which he produced and loaded with extras. He said the decision and timing of the Seinfeld series on DVD is in the hands of Columbia parent Sony Pictures, which owns distribution rights. Sources at Sony and CTHE said it's not a question of if it will come out, but when.

Pues que buenas noticias, Seinfeld es una serie comiquísima y no me lo podrán negar aquellos que le hayan puesto atención y se hayan familiarizado con sus personajes y situaciones.

Yo hace mucho tiempo (unos 8 años) ya había leído que era todo un éxito en USA pero hasta que la pasaron en México por el canal Sony pude ver que si era de mi agrado, pensaba que el tipo de humor era solo para el público gringo pero al ver las primeras pendejadas de Kramer y el cinismo de George Costanza ya me volví fan.

Es más seguro que me compre las temporadas de Seinfeld que las de Friends, esto debido a que en Seinfeld no hay una trama de fondo y todos los capítulos son independientes uno del otro como por ejemplo en Los Simpson.

Los que no la hayan visto en verdad se las recomiendo.

No podia estar mas de acuerdo. la serie esta muy bien elaborada, y es muy divertida.

El trio de Seinfeld se rehusa a grabar un Yada-Yada

Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, y Michael Richards se han rehusado a ser entrevistados para el DVD de Seinfeld, después de haberles ofrecido una pequeña cuota para grabar y de haberseles negado un porcentaje de las ventas en DVD.

Un representante de uno de los actores, que se negó a ser identificado, dijo al New York Times: "Todos dijeron, '¿porque debemos hacer más ricas a otras personas?'". Un representante de Jerry Seinfeld dijo que él esperaba hablar con los tres antes de año nuevo y persuadirlos a cambiar de opinión. Castle Rock planea sacar la primer temporada de Seinfeld en DVD el siguiente Diciembre.

Michael Richards ha dicho que el estaría dispuesto a hacer una entrevista para la salida a DVD de la primera temporada de Seinfeld si se le paga por hacerla. "No estoy boicoteando," dijo Richards alk New York Times, un día después de que publicaran un reportaje (ver nota anterior). Richards dijo que él "inocentemente" preguntó a los productores del Show si si habría compenmsación por hacer la entrevista en el DVD.

Un lector de IGN fue a un Show de Seinfeld y al final hubo una sesión de preguntas y respuestas y le preguntó por los DVDs, esto es (más o menos) lo que respondió.

Jerry Seinfeld escribió:"Well my show is only on 19 times a day, so I can see why people need it on DVD, so they can fill the rest of their free hours to watch my show. But they are actually working on the DVD right now. They want to make it the best television show on DVD, so they are working on putting interviews from the cast, commentary over the episodes, documentaries on how the show got started and behind the scenes stuff, and an introduction at the beginning of each episode that tells how we came up with the idea for the show. They should be out sometime in November."

Que se traduciría más o menos así: "Bueno, mi show sólo sal 19 veces al día, asi que entiendo porque la gente necesita tenerlo en DVD, para que puedan ocupar el resto de sus horas libres viendo mi show. Pero de hecho, si estan trabajando en el DVD justo ahora. Quieren hacer el mejor DVD de un show de TV, esta trabajando en poner entrevistas del elenco, comentario en los episodios, documentales sobre como comenzó el show, escenas detrás de cámras y una introducción al inicio de cada episodio narrando como tuvimos la idea para el episodio en cuestión. Deberían estar saliendo por ahí de Noviembre."

¿Que les parece? Suena muy interesante esa introducción por episodio, además de los comentarios. Excelente serie y seguro la conseguiré cuando salga (y tenga lana).

En Quantum Leap le pusieron introducción a cada capítulo también... lo malo es que no lo subtitularon

:lol: :lol: :lol: como me doblo de risa cada ves que veo el show, por supuesto que me la voy a comprar siempre y cuando el presupuesto no lo impida, ojala que tenga subtitulos.

Ayer vi en "E-entertainment" la confirmación del lanzamiento de las tres primeras temporadas de Seinfeld. Hay que pensar en invertir un poco de platita, ya que el set cuesta U$S 120

lamentablemente Columbia confirma que incluye doblaje en la edición Z1 de estos box set que saca de esta serie..... también lo muy pinches desgraciados le agregaron subtítulos en español...... QUIEN ENTIENDE A COLUMBIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seinfeld fans are anxiously awaiting the November 23rd release date of the DVDs, which are among the most highly-anticipated DVD releases ever. If you're reading this, you can probably count yourself among that number! And you're hungry for as much as you can find out about these sets, right?

Well, we don't want to let you guys down, so we're back today with even MORE new stuff about "nothing". This time we have brand-new pictures that Columbia provided for various packaging related to the sets.

In our last news post, we showed you the main cover art shots which portray the front of the boxes, and also listed the details about the extras on the Seasons 1 & 2 (a.k.a. "Volume 1"), and the Season 3 (a.k.a. "Volume 2") box sets. We also showed you a smallish picture of the bonus gift items that will be included in the Re-Gift Set (the combo package of both Volumes).

Now the studio has a better shot of the the gifts for you, plus this description that we can expect to find on the outside rear of the Re-Gift Set:

Finally for you today, we have these "long-box" shots for each of the individual volumes. The top is Seasons 1 & 2 (front and back), and the bottom is Season 3 (front & back). This is the sort of box you always see in the members-only "club" stores like Costco and Sam's and the like. Sometimes you also see these in music stores, but that happens less often in recent years. We're just speculating that this is the purpose of the packaging in these shots, but we can't imagine these being used more commonly than that. Still, they're interesting because of the extra publicity shots used on the back, and the inclusion of the big "Bonus Features" sticker that was first seen in the survey taken this past Spring:

Y las carátulas de las cajas que vienen dentro

Pues yo paso con éste... a mi no se me hace tan buena la serie...

Lo que sí es de extrañarse es que Columbia (si, nuestra adoradísima Columbia) saque este set con audio y subs en español!!!... ojalá y se les empiece a hacer costumbre

Pues acabo de leer el review del Vol.1 en IGN y para mi sorpresa, viene subtitulado al español. No, de los Episodios ya sabía, trae subtitulados el audio-comentario y el trivia track, supongo que los demás extras también (y supongo que eso explica el porque la sacarán en R4 )

Como que no te entendi Vicco y tambien estoy leyendo el review de IGN, si mal no entendi el review dice que los capitulos no tienen subs en español, solo audio en español y los extras asi como el comentario tienen subs en español.

Ahh si, también elí eso que dices... pero no creo que los Episodios vengan sin subtítulos, debe ser un error... :?

Mmmhh :? , ya me dieron que pensar, hay que acordarse que Starsky & Hutch de Columbia R4 que NO trae subtitulos en español solo doblaje, si es asi ya nos jodieron :cry:
