Cita:The Criterion Collection plans to bring the 1968 Roman Polanski film “Rosemary’s Baby” starring Mia Farrow and John Cassavetes to Blu-ray Disc on October 30th. The film co-stars Sidney Blackmer and Ruth Gordon who won an “Oscar” (Academy Award) for best actress in a supporting role. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio from a new digital restoration that director Roman Polanski approved as well as an uncompressed Mono soundtrack.
The bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below:
New interviews with Polanski, actress Mia Farrow, and producer Robert Evans
Komeda, Komeda, a feature-length documentary on the life and work of jazz musician and composer Krzysztof Komeda, who wrote the score for Rosemary’s Baby
1997 radio interview with author Ira Levin from Leonard Lopate’s WNYC program New York and Company on the 1967 novel, the sequel, and the film
PLUS: A booklet featuring an essay by critic Ed Park and Levin’s afterword for the 2003 New American Library edition of his novel, in which he discusses its and the film’s origins
must have!!

Fuera de USA tiene los derechos Paramount. Ojala fuera una edicion conjunta como la de The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Pues la edición nacional no tiene ni un sólo extra (aun y cuando el DVD de paramount si los incluía... pero el filme se ve muy bien!

Hoy vi la de "The Ring" y "Rosemary's Baby" en Mixup a $316 c/u. A ver si bajan de precio, vale la pena.
