Cita:Directed by Ryan Coogler (“Fruitvale Station”), the film serves as a “Rocky” franchise spinoff/continuation and follows Adonis Johnson Creed (Jordan), the son of famed boxer Apollo Creed, who died at the hands of Ivan Drago in “Rocky IV.” Looking to become a boxer himself, Creed travels to Philadelphia where he tracks down his father’s friend and former rival Rocky Balboa and asks the boxing champion to train him. Although Rocky left the ring behind long ago, he sees something in the young Creed and decides to help him win one of the greatest fights of his life.
