Two-disc set comes with commentaries and more.

March 15, 2004 - Miramax Home Entertainment has announced Cold Mountain Collector's Edition for home video release on June 29 for a suggested price of $29.99.


Based on the novel by Charles Frazier and directed by Anthony Minghella, the film takes place in the closing days of the American Civil War, where a wounded soldier (Jude Law) embarks on a dangerous return trip home to Cold Mountain, North Carolina to reunite with his sweetheart (Nicole Kidman).

The two-disc set will include:

  • Two audio commentaries with director/writer Anthony Minghella, actors Jude Law and Nicole Kidman, and the film's editor Walter Murch.

  • Never-before-seen deleted scenes.

  • The documentary Climbing Cold Mountain.

  • A Journey to Cold Mountain behind-the-scenes making-of special.

  • Words & Music of Cold Mountain special live performances based on the film from UCLA's Royce Hall (including music from Alison Krauss, Sting and Jack White, and readings from Nicole Kidman and Jude Law). Also included are conversations with the musicians behind the film.

Efectivamente, el back cover confirma los subs.... y también que es 2:35:1 y no 1:85:1!!!!!!!!!!!
