Onkyo's DV-SP500 has the performance and build quality to bring you outstanding movie and music enjoyment for years to come. It provides selectable progressive/interlaced-scan output, so you'll see a terrific picture on a standard TV today, and a more filmlike progressive-scan picture when you upgrade to a digital TV down the road. As for music playback, the DV-SP500 lets you listen to a variety of discs: regular audio CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, and even MP3 files burned to a recordable CD.

To experience digital surround sound, just use the DV-SP500's optical or coaxial digital output to connect to a Dolby® Digital/DTS® receiver with built-in decoding. Onkyo's exclusive Direct Digital Path design provides a shorter, cleaner path for the digital audio signal as it's read off the disc.

Un amigo acaba de comprar un modelo similar a este (5 discos) y me comenta que es sumamente sensible. Batalla para leer discos rentados y aun con nuevos, en ocasiones se atora y causa pixelacion.
