Star Wars in 3D Gets an Official Release Date
Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox announced today that the 3D theatrical launch of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace now has an official release date -- February 10, 2012! Set against the thrilling and exotic backdrop of a "galaxy far, far away," Star Wars is perfectly suited to the immersive 3D theatrical experience, and Episode I delivers some of the Saga's most stunning and spectacular sequences -- from the Naboo invasion to the Tatooine Podraces to the climactic lightsaber battle between Darth Maul and the Jedi.

No, no es cierto... tal vez por morbo, el Ep. 1 con todo y sus muchas fallas tiene buenas cosas a favor:
* Qui-Gon Jinn
* Darth Maul
* La carrera de pods (estoy casi seguro que la volverán a renderear pero en 3D y con mejores texturas)

La pre-trilogía se siente de esta manera porque está visto desde los ojos del protagonista, a diferencia de la trilogía clásica que estaba vista desde un punto de vista independiente.
Episodio I está narrada desde el punto de vista de un niño
Episodio II desde el punto de vista de un puberto calenturiento
Episodio III desde el punto de vista de un joven adulto, el que quiere "comerse al mundo".
Bueno, por lo menos ese es mi sentir. :mrgreen:
