Muchos se preguntaran y mi serie favorita la podre ver en otra temporada? he aqi la respuesta, a continuación las series canceladas de la TV en USA.

ABC
"All-American Girl," "Are You Hot?," "Dinotopia," "Lost at Home," "MDs," "Miracles," "Push, Nevada," "Regular Joe," "That Was Then," "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and "Veritas: The Quest"
And although it hasn't been officially cancelled, "The Drew Carey Show" doesn't have a place on the fall schedule. So cherish the original episodes that will air this summer, they appear to be the last ones we're going to see for awhile.

Also missing from the schedule: veteran comedy "Becker." CBS says there's still a chance the Ted Danson series could return for a sixth season, but it doesn't sound optimistic.

Pues sólo faltaría ver cuales de estas series son canceladas y cuales terminan por gusto o por terminar la historia.

Lástima por The Drew Carey Show, Whose Line is it Anyway? siempre me fastidió, pero imagino que a la gente de USA le ha de gustar ese tipo de humor, pero... :? Según tenía entendido, Dinotopía era una serie muy buena, ¿porque habrá sido cancelada? La terminaron honorablemente o la cancelaron por Rating?

Esto ya lo había comentado yo, My Big Fat Greek Life, pues ni modo, fué llamarada de petate...

Waaahhh! lástima pro Futurama, era una serie que me gustaba, me extraña la cancelación de John Doe, se me hizo una serie interesante.

Hmm quisiera creer que Josh Weadon ya ha terminado con Buffy the Vampire Slayer, pero me imagino que veremos un spin-off, algo así como Dawn the Vampire Slayer, ¿como, The Twilight Zone? ¡¡¡pero si apenas la van a estrenar aqui en México!!!

Dawson's Creek ya se merecía el corte, según había escuchado tenía varias temporadas que ya estaba bastante floja, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch pues por fin, ya era hora de que mi Melissa cambiará de aires... a menos que ahora vayan a hacer Sabrina la Bruja casada o Mi Big Fat Greek Witch... :?

Nooo! voy a extrañar a Futurama y Just Shoot Me!

Un fenómeno interesante es que muchas de las series gringas no funcionan en USA, pero tienen éxito entre las pocas personas de otros países que las pueden ver (por la TV de paga u otros medios) y aún así las cancelan.

Recuerdo por ejemplo el caso de Ned & Stacey que la veía con varios amigos y se nos hacía graciosísima, pero aún así le dieron cuello.

pues el caso de Baywatch fue muy interesante... sólo hacían la serie para venderla al extranjero y de pasarla por TV Cable en USA.....

Saludos y una pena por Futurama en realidad..... (y para los coleccionistas, se ahorrarán mucho dinerillo con las pocas temporadas... je,je....)

Ni modo, se termina uno de mis placeres culpables, ahora puedo confesar que a veces me gustaba ver Dawson's Creek, vi el ultimo capitulo y me parecio correcto el final.

Voy a extrañar mucho a Futurama, definitivamente la sombra de los Simpson no la hizo despegar como se merecia porque me parece una buena caricatura.

Y me extraña mucho la cancelación de Off Centre, no se si en EUA no haya tenido exito pero se habia convertido en una de mis comedias favoritas. Super desenfadada y muy divertida.

Otras que se van a extrañar aunque en menor medida son Just Shoot Me, Drew Carey Show y Sabrina.

Ni modo!!! nada es eterno, verdad?

Aunque no sé porque entonces le hicieron tanto show en algunos canales de USA como en el TNT, FOX y Cartoon Network en promocionarla tanto.

Actualmente la veo por el Cartoon Network USA de lunes a jueves y ocasionalemente por el FOX en fines de semana.

Solamente espero que Matt Groening y su equipo creativo tengo algo más bajo la manga y que pueda ser producido y rentable para FOX o cualquier otra cadena de televisión.

Aprovechando este tema, ¿ alguien vio una serie llamada "Over There" ? se los pregunto porque vi que en Amazon tienen la primera temporada a mitad de precio y me llamó algo la atención, solo que como no tuve oportunidad de verla no se que tan buena o mala este, los reviews gringos que he leído dicen que está dos-tres, solo que me gustaria saber un poco más de la serie, por ejemplo:

¿ Es parecida a algo así como Band of Brothers, ya saben con escenas de acción bien hechas combinadas con historias sobre la vida de cada uno de los soldados que participan en ella ? ó en pocas palabras es más "choro" que balaceras ó viceversa.

por el momento no creo que cancelen House.... con repeticiones está entre las 10 más vistas de la TV gringa....

Aso FOX truena tres muy buenas series, Malcolm, 70's show y mi favorita: Arrested Development... lástima. Bueno, 70's creo que ya debe ser porque ya le pegan a los 80's y la infame that 80's Show no fue el éxito que se esperaba hahaha.

Seguiran pasando repeticiones por que definitivamente la serie terminó. Había chance de que la retomara Showtime pero al parecer los mismo de Arrested Development decidieron ya dejarlo por la paz. Chequen:

Mitch Hurwitz backs off Development. For Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz, the show mustn't go on.

Hurwitz confirmed Monday that he has decided against continuing on with the series because he feels the show has reached its creative end. Showtime president Robert Greenblatt said previously that the cable channel was interested in picking up the series, but only if Hurwitz was involved as the show runner.

Hurwitz told Variety that he would consider continuing on as a consultant, and that he would be interested in making a feature film of the series.

"I said I'd be happy to do that, but that as show runner, I've gone as far as I can go," he said.

Series star Jason Batemen told the San Francisco Chronicle that he was sad to see the series end, but he is happy that fans can remember it on DVD.

"I'm so proud of it and so like it as a TV fan that I'm happy we're not going to get a chance to screw it up," he said. "It's nice that there's a medium to preserve it."

The announcement by Hurwitz follows months of speculation that the much-loved, low-rated Fox sitcom would move to cable network Showtime. This season, Fox cut the episode order of the series down from 18 to 13 but didn't officially cancel the show. This was partly because they were playing both ends against the middle: when news arose that rival network ABC also wanted the show, Fox decided to hold off on judgment, not wanting to let another network make a hit out of their failure.

Arrested Development told the story of the highly dysfunctional, yet frighteningly familiar, Bluth family. The show won three Emmys, two for writing and one for best comedy series, and Bateman won a Golden Globe for his role as the "sane" member of the family, Michael.

Batemen got a parting shot in at Fox when he mentioned that the network wasn't accustomed to having Emmy-nominated shows.

"At least they had a presence at the Emmys, which was new for them," he said.
