Porque está padre remasterizarlas y embellecerlas trayéndolas a una nueva audiencia pero otra cosa es aplicar el LUCAS y cambiarle el sentido, o el tono.

Dijo Spielberg en Comic Con 2011 que la versión que va a lanzar en bluray es la versión original del los 80's sin cambios. Que ya se arrepintió de que George Lucas lo convenció de alterarla para el lanzamiento del 20 aniversario. A ver si cumple lo que dijo.

hay un video de lanzamiento que no indica fecha de lanzamiento en youtube donde se indica la clásica frase "por primera vez en blu ray", y donde se ve la escena de los oficiales con sus escopetas pero también se ve la escena de despedida de ET con el movimiento de labios que le pusieron en la edición especial.... a lo mejor Spielberg se animó en respetar su trabajo original pero con mejoras en FX para los movimientos de ET.....

To celebrate Universal’s 100th Anniversary, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial is being released on blu-ray for the first time in October 2012. The film stars Henry Thomas, Drew Barrymore, Dee Wallace, and Peter Coyote. When it was released theatrically in 1982, it was the biggest film of the year and held the #1 spot for over 16 weekends. It also still holds the spot for the 4th most successful movie of all time in the USA. It won 4 Academy Awards including Best Visual Effects, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound, and Best Music for the score composed by John Williams.

The blu-ray is a combo pack, which includes the blu-ray version, DVD version, and Digital Copy, and an UltraViolet version of the film. The release features an all new, digitally remastered version of the film and a new 7.1 surround sound track,

^ Fue mi primera impresión también, y es que se ve muy pinchona, además de que en nada te recuerda a la película: las proporciones están mal, el color plateado nunca lo vimos en la película, pues reflejaba un cielo nocturno, y definitivamente le faltan los colores de las luces, para lo que pudieron colocar plásticos o calcomanías de colores. Más bien me recuerdad los platillos voladores de una promoción, ya muy vieja , de Marinela.
