You won't have to wait much longer to get a taste of Resistance 3. Next month's release of Sony Pictures' Battle: Los Angeles on Blu-ray will pack in a playable demo of Insomniac's upcoming shooter.

According to G4, the demo will let you check out 30 minutes of single-player action. The full game won't be out until September 6 so it'll be almost three full months of early access. A multiplayer beta is also in the works, with select SOCOM 4 buyers getting early access.

Battle: Los Angeles comes out on Blu-ray on June 14.
