This September, Starz and Anchor Bay Entertainment bring Spartacus: Gods of the Arena to Blu-ray. This television prequel to Spartacus: Blood and Sand details the rise of Batiatus (John Hannah, The Mummy) as he and his wife Lucretia (Lucy Lawless, "Xena: Warrior Princess") scheme their way to power.

Starz and Anchor Bay present all six episodes of this cable miniseries in high definition. The studios have not confirmed a full list of technical and supplemental specifications, so check back later for further information.
