October 03, 2003 - John Lennon fans, rejoice. Capitol Records will release the Lennon Legend DVD on November 18th, 2003, full of never-before-seen footage, rare newsreel and private footage, 15 new and newly-remastered music videos and a Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound track. Pricing is not yet available.
The DVD will server as a companion to the Lennon Legend album, which has now sold over 4.5 million copies worldwide. It will feature 20 tracks in total, with all of the original film negatives digitally re-transferred and remastered. The video will come from his widow Yoko Ono's personal archives as well as footage was gathered from all around the world.

"Imagine": A brand new transfer from the original 16mm Imagine filmed in 1971
"Instant Karma!": John & The Plastic Ono Band, filmed for BBC 1's "Top Of The Pops" on February 11 1970.
"Mother": A brand new video featuring stills from John's life.
"Jealous Guy": A new video taken from footage of John recording Jealous Guy in 1971.
"Power To The People": An extended version of the original video.
"Cold Turkey": Taken from a 1972 performance.
"Love": A new video, featuring footage of John and Yoko from 1980.
"Mind Games": Original footage shot in 1974.
"Whatever Gets You Thru The Night": A restored and extended version of the original animation video.
"#9 Dream": A new video, made from the films "Smile" and "Two Virgins."
"Stand By Me": A new video based on a 1975 performance.
"(Just Like) Starting Over": A new video, by legendary director Joe Pytka, who made The Beatles' "Free As A Bird" video.
"Woman": A restored version of Yoko's original video from January 1981.
"Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)": A new video featuring personal footage.
"Watching The Wheels": A new video featuring holiday footage.
"Nobody Told Me": A new video taken from "Imagine" film and other previously unseen footage.
"Borrowed Time": A new video taken from unreleased footage.
"Working Class Hero": A new video filmed in Liverpool.
"Happy Xmas (War Is Over)": A new video.
"Give Peace A Chance": A new video, featuring the original "Bed-In" recording of "GPAC" from May 1969.
The audio will be in both Dolby Digital and DTS formats. There will also be animations in the style of John Lennon's drawings, with animations by Zombie Flesh Eaters of Gorillaz fame, plus unreleased footage and pictures.
