Kung Fu - The Complete 2nd Season. Now we have a few extra bits and pieces about that, plus menu screens from the main menu and an extras disc.
First off, it might interest you to know that guest stars during this season include Harrison Ford, Don Johnson, Slim Pickens, Tina Louise, John Carradine, and others. The episodes that will feature commentary tracks by David Carridine are "The Well" and "The Chalice". The bonus documentary "Zen and Now: A Dinner with David Carradine & Friends" (featuring Carradine's Kill Bill co-stars Vivica A. Fox and Michael Madsen, Kung Fu series co-star Radames Pera and Technical Advisor Kam Yuen and more) will be broken down into 3 featurettes: "Appetizers", "Main Course", and "Dessert"; you can see this in one of the menu screens we have for you:

New spec info was revealed, including a running time of 1167 minutes. Besides the original English 1.0 soundtrack, Warner will provide Closed Captioning as well as Subtitles in English, French, and Spanish. In regard to the aspect ratio, Warner is going to push the fact that they are returning to the original aspect ratio of 1.33:1, as opposed to the faux-widescreen format used for the first season release. In fact, an ad/fact sheet aimed at retailers sports this copy: "Maintains original 4x3 aspect ratio, remaining true to original airings. "
Despite that return to OAR (original aspect ratio), don't expect a do-over where the 1st season is concerned. To our knowledge, Warner has no plans to go back and re-release The Complete 1st Season in the 1.33:1 video format. Instead, they will surely concentrate their efforts on getting out the final season from the show's 3-year run...and hopefully proceed from there on to all four seasons of Kung Fu: The Legend Continues.
Look for Kung Fu - The Complete 2nd Season on DVD this coming January 18th.
