We've got a bit of info for you on a problem people are reporting with Paramount's new Titanic: Special Collector's Edition DVD. It seems there's a little video encoding error on Disc One at about 1:19:19 into the film. It appears for just one frame, but once you know it's there it's irritating impossible not to see. Here's what it looks like:
To the best of our knowledge, ALL copies are affected by this error (we've check ours and have confirmed it's definitely there). It's a pretty minor issue in the grand scheme of things, but it's enough for home theater-philes to be on about. So we're waiting to hear back from Paramount on this, to see what they have to say about it and if they plan to correct the problem. Thanks to Bits reader Shannon N. for the image."
Saludos!
