Quentin Tarantino recently told SciFi.com that he has talked with Pierce Brosnan about his dream idea of doing a serious, non-comedic adaptation of Ian Fleming's first James Bond novel, 'Casino Royale.' Tarantino's idea is to take the franchise back to its roots, on a much lower budget, for Brosnan's last Bond movie (figuring that after this movie, the franchise is going to restart with a new Bond so they have nothing to lose). Tarantino admits that he is unlikely to get to do this, but it's fun to imagine anyway. Here's hoping he gets to do it.

Yo estoy a favor de que Tarantino dirija esta, no tanto por ser fan de Tarantino, sino por ver algo diferente en la serie de Bond, ya que últimamente sus películas han estado de super hueva, me quedé dormido en el cine viendo Die Another Day.

Pero si Tarantino le entra yo creo que indudablemente sería clasificación R, que clasificaciones tienen las otras de Bond?

Hehehe, debí haberlo adivinado... ¿que mejor chica Bond que la chica-Tarantino? Me agrada su actitud de no ser sólo una chica Bond, y de villana estaría genial.

John Travolta ha mencionado que QuentinTarantino esta considerando una precuela para su film de 1994, PULP FICTION. En una entrevista que apareció en el diario italiano La Repubblica Friday, Travolta -quien esta en el festival fílmico de Venecia para promover a Love Son for Bobby Long- confirmó que Tarantino le llama cada seis meses para discutir la precuela, en la que él protagonizaría nuevamente como el asesino Vincent Vega. "El problema es que trabajamos juntos en tiempos de austeridad, ahora él hace films por millones de dólares. No sé si todavía estaré bien para él."

Según entendí, Travolta se siente más acostumbrado a trabajar en proyectos de bajo presupuesto, y dice que Tarantino ya hace películas de millones de dólares... pero vamos... QT no podría hacer esta película sin Travolta

Resulta que a los que tienen los derechois de la franquicia de Bond, les agradó la idea de llevar a la pantalla grande Casino Royale (que fue la primer novela de James Bond escrita por Ian Flemming), sin embargo Tarantino quedo completamente descartado como director...

The role was played by Orson Welles in the 1967 spoof of the Ian Fleming book. The new film has already begun shooting, despite the fact that the so-called Bond Girl has not been selected yet. At the news conference, director Martin Campbell remarked that the choice had been narrowed down to "two or three" actresses.

Craig now has to sport gum shields during action scenes for protection. An insider says, "Daniel was filming with some minor actors when he got hit in the face. Como Tina grabó la rola de Goldeneye (cuando tampoco nadie quería a Bond) ahora quieren repetir la historia.

Tina Turner has reportedly been asked to record the title song for new James Bond movie Casino Royale. The 66-year-old star recorded the theme tune for the 1995 spy adventure GoldenEye, and film bosses are convinced she will give the new rawer Bond - played by Daniel Craig - the required edge. An insider tells British newspaper the Daily Express, "To quote one of Tina Turner's hits, she's 'Simply The Best.' We want Casino Royale to have a huge impact so we want a big theme tune. We know Tina would deliver just that."

Pues no fue Tina Turner, sino Chris Cornell, chequén En este sitio encontrarán la canción que supuestamente es del intro de la película y aunque me gusta un chingo como canta Cornell, esta rola como que no se me hizo de Bond. Me gustaron más las aportaciones de Garbage (The World Is Not Enough) y más la de Sheryl Crow (Tomorrow Never Dies). Por ahí viene una liga para bajar un MP3 de la rola compelta.

5 puntos malos a la Otro Rollo:

1) Daniel Craig no es igual de expresivo y ni tiene el carisma que creo debe representar a James Bond.
2) Hubo ratos de acción, pero fueron muy pocos.
3) Spoiler: Q ni sus luces!, ningún gadget!
4) Super-predecible.
5) El Aston Martin no figuró más que su güantera.

Update: 5.1) El tema de Chris Cornell no hizo punch.

De lo bueno:

1) Menos o cero efectos digitales, estó fue lo que más aplaudí en la película.
2) Se ubicó principalmente en Europa.
3) Me dió la impresión de que fue de las primeras misiones de Bond, aunque para tiempos actuales, después del 11 de Septiembre.
4) Se conoce un poco más el lado humano del agente.
5) Ya no hay!

Yo la fui a ver ayer y me gusto bastante. Se me hizo muy interesante ver el inicio de Bond y como al principio era bastante cabroncito.

Es una película mas seria que las anteriores, quiza con excepción de las primeras de Sean Connery.
Definitivamente no se ve la personalidad que muestra Bond en sus diferentes caracterizaciones anteriores pero se supone que aún no se ha formado en el esa manera de ser por empezar apenas a ser un agente 00.
Las escenas de acción aunque pocas son de antología sobre todo la primera¡¡¡¡¡ Increíble¡¡¡
Me gusto mucho y seguro la compraré en DVD.

Yo la vi en el teatro chino en L.A. y tambien me encanto sobre todo la primera escena de accion

Yo debo admitir que no soy muy fan de James Bond, vi la de Die Another Day y se me hizo bastante mala, asi que fui a ver esta sin muchas expectativas y :O me gustó bastante, el Daniel Craig la verdad la hizo muy bien de Bond, y me gusto que esta vez hubiera momentos humanos para el 007, al igual que entendieramos mejor su relación con las mujeres, Eva Green estuvo impecable, muy carismática y guapísima.

Casi me gusto todo, hasta la canción de Chris Cornell, se me hace de los mejores temas de Bond, los creditos de inicio no me convencieron de todo.

Cabe mencionar que como usa puro SONY ahora el Bond, ya que el Blu-Ray hace apariencia, al igual que celulares Sony Ericcson y Laptops VAIO.

En fin yo si la recomiendo, bastante entretenida y bien actuada.

La vi el domingo, estuvo muy entretenida, mejor que las últimas dos de Bond, de principio a fin está lleno de acción y éste es el James Bond para las nuevas generaciones.
