aqui la info:
Batman, The - 1st DVD announced (details & art); 2nd DVD on-the-way!
A month ago we released news which told the title and general timeline of the DVD release The Batman - Season 1, Vol. 1: Training for Power. The info we brought you hit the nail on the head, as it turns out: late today Warner officially announced the title. May 24th is the release date.
14.97 gets you three episodes from the all-new 2004 The Batman animated TV series, available for the first time on DVD:
"The Bat in the Belfry": The Batman finds himself dealing with a new breed of criminal when the Joker takes over Arkham Asylum, then plans to fly a hot air balloon filled with Joker Gas - a toxin which leaves its victims in a strange "rictus" state - and "pop" its contents all over Gotham!
"Traction": The Batman faces off with masked criminal Bane, and once Bane's Chemical steroid-infusion is activated, Batman finds himself outmatched in the Brute strength department.
"Call of the Cobblepot": "Ozzy" Cobblepot, aka The Penquin, has delusions of rebuilding the last Cobblepot fortune, via high-flying robberies employing various trained birds. Unaware of Cobblepot's criminal plans, Alfred finds himself in the run-down and decrepit Cobblepot mansion, where he is ensnared by Ozzy. Now Penguin will let his hungry birds feast upon Alfred, unless The Batman can rescue him in time.
Extras: "The Batman Junior Detective" challenge, a featurette called "Building the Batman", and a "Cape & Cowl" toy easter egg. Running time is 63 minutes. Specs: Full-frame 4x3 video, English Stereo and Spanish Stereo, subtitles in English, French, and Spanish, plus closed captioning.
Want to take a look at this and see if it's for you? Warner has provided trailer you can view to take a look at the animation and style of the show. It also demonstrates that the DVD can interact with a particular toy from The Batman line of toys, and action in the story can activate the toy. Pretty cool.
And that's not all the trailer tells us! It concludes with a screenshot telling us to expect the second DVD volume of The Batman "soon". Stay tuned, and we'll let you know about that, as more comes to light!
