French site Planete HD is reporting that the local branch of of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced that one of the most eagerly awaited catalog releases of this fall, the Alien Anthology, will be released there on Blu-ray on October 6. Note that the release date in other territories may differ.

Two editions will be released: a collector's box set, with six BDs, and an Ultra Collector's Limited Edition with 6 BDs and 4 DVDs in alien-egg packaging (for a sneak peek, see blu-ray.com, April 6). List price is €59.98 and €129.99, respectively.

Additionally, some extra content has been listed at local certification agencies. The most complete list of new material was published by German site DVD Duell, based on information from the FSK, the German film rating authority. Other features came from the BBFC.

A prominent addition is the The Alien Saga, a feature-length documentary first aired on AMC and previously available separately on DVD.

Excelente set el de Alien. aunque la 3 y la 4 no valgan mucho la pena pero si esta bastante cargadita de extras.

Ya hubiera sido mucho pedir. De hecho este boxset es como deberían de ser todos, con todas las ediciones existentes de cada película (Te estoy hablando a ti Lord of the Rings) y un friegamadral de extras tanto viejos, como nuevos. Este boxset me da esperanzas de que salga así uno, pero de Star Wars. Con todas las ediciones diferentes de cada película y con extras viejos y nuevos. Esta vez si me quito el sombrero ante Fox porque así es como se debe de hacer un Boxset en Blu-ray

Excelente, muy buena noticia, me interesan estas peliculas pero como es fox no me habia emocionado en adquirir esta edicion ya que hasta la fecha no he visto ni un bd de fox con los extras subtitulados, ojala a la mera hora no salgan con sus tragedias. Pero antes de comprarlo a esperar que algun valiente las compre y confirme los subtitulos en los extras.

Intente poner una orden, solo por diversion pues no pienso compralresta version de 149.99 y todo hiba bien hasta que ingrese los datos de la TC y solo acepta pedidos en USA, llame y me lo confirmaron.....

interesante pues acabo de ponder una orden para un equipo deportivo en un sitio X y sin problemas solo me pidieron mandar copia de IFE y de TC, que cosas.....
