Just in from Buena Vista Home Entertainment are the full specs for three new additions to the Miramax Collector's Series line, all due on June 1st. At last getting the two-disc treatment, Danny Boyle's Trainspotting will feature a new 1.85 anamorphic transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS surround tracks, an audio commentary with Boyle and crew, deleted scenes with optional commentary, both the original and a new making-of featurette, vintage interviews from the Cannes Film Festival, a still gallery and trailers. Retail will be $29.95.
Also due on the 1st are two cult favorites, both of which will be single-disc sets and priced at a cheaper $19.95 a pop. James Mangold's Cop Land will get a new 116 minute director's cut in 1.85 anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1, plus an audio commentary with Mangold, producer Cathy Konrad and actors Sylvester Stallone and Robert Patrick, deleted scenes with optional commentary, "The Making of an Urban Western" documentary, a storyboard gallery and theatrical trailers. Finally, there is the comedy favorite Flirting With Disaster, which is also remastered in 1.85 anamorphic and Dolby Digital 5.1, and includes deleted scenes, outtakes, a vintage featurette and theatrical trailers.
