We haven't confirmed all of the information you're about to receive, so treat the following appropriately.
BUT... the Batman on Film website is reporting that Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin will be released on 10/18 as new 2-disc sets. That's the same day as our own sources indicate the recent Batman Begins will be released (and our sources have confirmed the 10/18 date for the other Batman films as well). All four titles will reportedly also be available on that day in a box set called Batman: The Motion Picture Anthology 1989-1997. Each 2-disc set will feature a new anamorphic widescreen transfer of the film, along with new director commentaries by Joel Schumacher and Tim Burton, cast and crew interviews, several new documentaries and behind-the-scenes featurettes, music videos from Prince, Seal and the Smashing Pumpkins, trailers, TV spots, vintage footage, etc. There's also word that Schumacher has created a new, 150-minute director's cut of Batman Forever, and that both the original cut and the new cut will be included on the DVD via seamless branching. Thanks to Bits reader Seth C. for the heads-up.
También estan prometidas por parte de WBHV ediciones especiales de las películas animadas de Batman (particularmente Mask of the Phantasm), ojalá y también suceda
