considerando que el "Game boy Evolution" sale en el 2006, creo que si vale la pena la espera
yo empecé a sospechar desde que el Nintendo DS no tenía el nombre de "Gameboy" por ningún lado

Console Information
So far, Nintendo has not released much information about its next wave of consoles, and the GameBoy Evolution is no exception.
The next console in the GameBoy series is said to have a flip-top "clam shell" design similar to that of the GameBoy Advance SP. Games for the system will come on mini discs, instead of cartridges, and it is likely to be backwards compatible with the GameBoy Advance (and possibly GameBoy) games, however, probably won't feature a cartridge port for those games. Instead, an external device may be used to download the games off cartridges to a hard drive on the system.
Graphics are said to be of 128-bit standard, and better than those seen on the Sega Dreamcast. Bluetooth wireless networking will be built in and the system will have a lit screen, like the GameBoy Advance SP.
The GameBoy Evolution won't be available til sometime in 2006.
Nintendo GameBoy Evolution Technical Specifications

More information and specs for this system will be listed as they become available.
Cita: It's important to note that the Nintendo DS is said to have been merely a side-project for Nintendo that they were working on in the background as they concentrated mostly on producing the next console in the GameBoy series - the GameBoy Evolution. With the announcement of the Sony PSP, however, Nintendo were said to have released the DS at this point just to stay in the game until the Evolution was ready for release. That's not to say that the DS would never have been released. Nintendo would have certainly wanted to show off the innovative new gameplay methods utilised in the DS, and it is rumoured that the Nintendo Revoltion (Nintendo's next home console) will feature even more "revolutionary" gameplay methods.
