The most disturbing movie of 2002 heads to DVD.

May 20, 2003 - Miramax has snuck in a July 15th release date for Roberto Benigni's disturbing live action version of Pinocchio on DVD. The move bombed harder than Glitter or Ecks vs. Sever probably due to audiences running from the theater in terror when they saw a balding forty-year old playing a wooden boy. Also, the dubbing makes Godzilla movies look amazing in comparison.

Anyways, the DVD will come complete with a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 audio in English, and only one special feature; "The Voices Of Pinocchio: Creating The English Dubbed Version".
